Accessibility Statement

Leadership development should be open to everyone. We want our website and our programmes to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Last updated 17 October 2026

1. Our commitment

Hagan Institute of Leadership is committed to accessibility and to the inclusion of persons with disabilities, consistent with the spirit of Ghana’s Persons with Disability Act, 2006 (Act 715). We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we continue to improve.

2. Our website

We have designed this website to:

  • Use clear headings and a logical structure that works with screen readers;
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • Use readable typography and strong colour contrast for body text;
  • Work across phones, tablets and computers, and allow text to be enlarged;
  • Support keyboard navigation, including menus and form fields;
  • Respect “reduced motion” settings by switching off animations.

3. Known limitations

Some content may not yet be fully accessible — for example, some third-party content and older documents. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us and we will provide the information in another way and work to fix the issue.

4. Our programmes

We want every participant to take a full part in HIL programmes. When you apply, please let us know about any access requirements — such as mobility, hearing, visual or learning needs — and we will work with you to make reasonable adjustments to venues, materials and activities wherever possible.

5. Requesting support

To report an accessibility issue or request information in an alternative format, contact us at [email protected] or 024 770 5153. We will respond as quickly as we can.
